The BuddySystem is a compact unit that alerts emergency personnel or emergency contacts through a cell-phone message that the user of this system has fallen and was rendered unconcious. This system addresses the needs of the family and friends of the Baby-Boomer generation who will have to care for their aging relatives over the next decade as well as the growing movement of young people who are interested in doing extreme sports. Unlike the only competition in this market that uses a button that you have to press, our system provides an automatic alerting mechanism -- very important for someone who has been rendered unable to press a button. |
