Do you ever wonder how seriously your patients are taking their injury?

Many injured individuals do not ice and/or apply heat as often as prescribed and many return to work or the playing field prematurely healed. By encouraging the patient to take responsibility for their injury and completely heal, their risk for re-injury greatly decreases.

TheraPad is an ice/heat pack with an attached sensor that monitors how often, how long and at what temperature the patient is taking care of their injury. The sensor, located on the reusable ice/heat pack, will relay information to a computer and will give the patient, doctors, physical therapists, and or athletic trainers insight on the healing process. Since every individual heals at a different rate, TheraPad can help doctors, physical therapists and athletic trainers design a correct rehabilitation program.
