The BlindSIGHT solution is a driving aid that detects persons, vehicles, and objects in a driver’s blind spots while driving. Traditional methods of checking one’s blind spots, be it checking vehicle mirrors or looking over one’s shoulder, have had limited success in seeing the vehicle’s surroundings. Missing vehicles in one’s blind spots have often led to collisions, significant vehicle damages, and insurance premium increases. Such visibility limitations have been worsened due to the increasing density of highways and size of vehicles.

BlindSIGHT senses what drivers cannot easily see and helps avoid accidents. Whether the driver wants to change lanes on a highway or reverse in a parking lot or driveway, the solution will detect and then inform the driver whether it is safe to proceed. The solution works with the driver’s existing vehicle and is also easy to install. BlindSIGHT provides a safer and less costly driving experience for both the vehicle and driver.
