Basic Information

Electric discharge machining (EDM), also called electrodischarge or spark-erosion machining, is one of the most accurate manufacturing processes available. EDM works by eroding material in the path of electrical discharges that form an arc between an electrode tool and the workpiece.

The components that make an EDM system
